Arsenal’s Folarin Balogun hints at exiting club with mysterious tweet

Young player for Arsenal, Folarin Balogun, has strongly hinted at an impending departure from the club.

The forward has been consistently linked with a possible transfer this summer as Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta aims to generate funds for new signings.

According to The Mirror, Balogun is highly sought after and considered one of the most promising young strikers in Europe.

The 21-year-old, who came through the ranks of Arsenal’s academy, had a successful loan spell at Ligue 1 club Reims last season, impressively scoring 21 goals.

His exceptional goal-scoring record has attracted interest from several European clubs.

Although Arsenal recognizes Balogun’s immense talent, he is unlikely to be guaranteed regular playing time at the Emirates in the upcoming season.

As a result, Arsenal has reportedly set a price tag of £35 million for the young forward, and numerous clubs are already showing interest in acquiring his services.

Bolagun’s cryptic tweet

The young forward has further fuelled speculation on his imminent exit by posting a cryptic tweet.

The Arsenal ace, who made it public that he was tweeting from Enfield, posted an egg-timer emoji with the caption:

“It is time!”

The tweet sparked a plethora of panicked reactions from fans, who wondered if this meant the forward had found his new club.

Meanwhile, AC Milan are believed to be the leading contenders for the services of the USA international.
