Ampem Darkoa Ladies land in Benin City for WAFU B Champions League qualifying matches

Ampem Darkoa Ladies, the reigning Ghanaian champions, have arrived in Benin City, Nigeria for the WAFU Zone B 2023 CAF Women’s Champions League qualifiers.

The squad flew from Accra to Lagos on African World Airlines early on Tuesday, August 15, and then on to Benin City, the host state.

A group of 35 people, including players, team executives, and a GFA representative, travelled to Nigeria to make a second run at the top champions league spot.

The competition is set to start on Friday, August 18, 2023, with the winner receiving the sole ticket for WAFU Zone B to the CAF Women’s Champions League.
