Ghana midfielder Alfred Duncan will miss Sassuolo’s trip to the San Siro to play AC Milan in the serie A on Saturday due to suspension.
The swashbuckling midfielder was red carded in the final minute of the Nerovredi’s 1-1 draw against SPAL on Sunday.
Duncan has been Sassuolo’s key player this season and his absence will come as a big blow to manager Roberto De Zerbi.

This could have also been an opportunity for the Ghanaian to show his class against AC Milan, who are keen on signing the 25-year old in the summer transfer window.
Sassuolo are currently 11th on the serie A table and still have a chance of claiming an European spot as the gap.
Midfielder Alfred Duncan will be expected to return for the game against Napoli at the Mapei Stadium on March 10th.
