Albert Adomah facing lengthy layoff after serious injury in Birmingham City win

Winger Albert Adomah is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a foot injury in Aston Villa’s sweet 4-2 win over Birmingham in the Championship on Sunday in the second city derby, GHANASoccernet.com can report.

The Ghana international was at the receiving end of the cynical tackle from Harding which earned him a booking.

Afterwards, Adomah could not continue walking as the injury was so bad.

He had to jump on the back of the Villa Physio who piggybacked him down the tunnel.

Adomah was replaced by Yannick Bolaise in the 65th minute when Villa were leading 3-2 at home.

Alan Hutton nailed home the fourth in the 76th minute.
