The host of You Sey Wetin on Hitz FM, Prince Tsegah made a remark on his show about reggae-dancehall musician Shatt Wale losing “his shine” as the King of Ghana Music. Prince explained that unlike in the past when Shatta Wale wielded command in the Ghanaian music industry, his influence seems to be diminishing presently. On Twitter, he said:
“I think Shatta Wale is gradually losing his shine. Back then, when he coughs, Ghana catches a cold. Now when he sneezes, people will open their mouths and they will still be fine. However, I do not want to see him out of the scene. He should find another strategy to reign againâ€.

Veteran media personality with Hitz FM, Andy Dosty however, disagreed and stated that his long silence could be because of his “Reign†Album which will be released later this year.
