Former goalkeeper of the Black Stars, Sammy Adjei says he is capable of being the next president of the Ghana Football Association.
The leadership of the Ghana Football Association has been dispersed after former President Kwasi Nyatakyi resigned following the scandals that hit the Association after the premiering of the Anas expose’.

The Executive Committee is also in the process of being dissolved as a normalization committee is being set up to handle the affairs of Ghana Football in the next six months.
An election will be held for a new president to be elected when the mandate of the normalization committee expires.
Following the vacancy left at the top hierarchy of football, several personalities have showed interest in contesting for the position including Sammy Adjei.

“I could easily become the next GFA Presidentâ€, Sammy Adjei told Asempa FM. “If God will is for me to be GFA President I will be. But I know I am very capable,” he added.
Sammy Adjei was a member of the Black Stars team that qualified for the maiden World Cup in 2006. He was also the hero of Accra Hearts of Oak during the late 90’s and early 2000’s.
