Custodians from four communities in the Eastern region: Adoagyiri, Owuraku, Ntoaso and Akwamu are holding a demonstration in protest of purported sale of their lands by former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings.
The protesters are presenting a petition to government through the Nsawam Adoagyiri Municipal Assembly to stop Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings from ceding their over 700 acre land to private a developer.
The said land was acquired by government to grow pineapples to feed the Nsawam canary when it was established.
