A government statement signed by three ministers including a cabinet minister has proved insufficient in assuring residents at Adentan and Madina that a deadly highway will be made pedestrian-friendly.
Monday morning has began with residents there making good their promise to demonstrate over the deadly highway that claimed another teenager life last Thursday.

Joy News presenter reports about a 100 protesters have hit the streets. They began at West Africa High School the deadly site where the latest victim, a teenage student of the school died last Thursday.

Some of the protesters want to march to Madina. But some of their leaders want to stop at Adentan SDA junction.
A police blockade awaits them at SDA Junction the junction where a 33-year old woman was knocked down and killed some nine days ago.
