Ivorian clubs pay better wages Berekum Chelseas Ametepe says

Berekum Chelsea midfielder Eric Ametepe was on loan at Ivorian club AS Tanda last season and says football clubs in Ivory Coast pay better salaries to players.

“One thing is there is difference in value between the CFA and the Ghana cedis. But when you look at what players are paid over there and compare it to ours I can say they are doing better.” Ametepe disclosed.

The former Berekum Arsenal offensive midfielder also added that Ghana is in the same bracket as Ivory Coast in terms of soccer talents endowment but the francophone African nation is ahead in the areas of broadcasting and finance.

“In terms of talents we have them here in Ghana. The are also very good materials there but where they edge us is the area of broadcasting and finances. There is lot of TV money from Canal Plus and that means more money for the clubs.” he added.
