The Minister for Roads and Highways, Kwasi Amoako Atta, has said work on the Madina-Adenta highway will commence as soon as possible.

“Government is renegotiating the deal with the contractors so they can start work,” he told Daniel Dadzie host of the show.

He explained the contractors started work in 2015 but and abandoned it because of lack of payment.

In 2018, 194 people have died on the Madina-Adenta highway as at Monday.
