Reports coming in suggest that James Lutterodt who formed part of the team that represented Keta Senior High School (KETASCO) in the 2021 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) has passed on.
News regarding his alleged death was announced by one Twitter user @Friggo on Monday, July 3, 2023.
According to sources, James Lutterodt was poisoned. The Independent Ghana is unable to verify this information at the moment.
It is unknown when James kicked the bucket. Per reports, James Lutterodt was set to travel outside the country to further his studies at Howard University, just as his colleague, Francisca Lamini, who has started her pre-med programme at Harvard University in the US.
The 19-year-old’s dream was to become a web designer and web developer, reports say.

Bright Senyo Gadzo, Francisca Lamini, and James Lutterodt, represented Keta Senior High Technical School (KETASCO) in 2021 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) competition.
Keta SHTS was pegged for victory due to their outstanding performance. As an underdog, they rose from the ashes to battle PRESEC-Legon and Prempeh. KETASCO’s mantra was “God of ONE-ders.”

Despite their remarkable performances, KETASCO lost. Prempeh College with 53 points, beat PRESEC Legon and KETASCO.
The trio and the entire NSMQ team after the competition were met by their colleagues, teachers, and the public at Keta Business College (KETABUSCO) Junction for a procession to the KETASCO campus and the School’s cadet guard of honour.
