Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Arafat Mensah has completed his move to Norwegian top-flight side IK Start on Thursday after passing a medical.
The 23-year-old moves from Slovenian football club Aluminji after the two sides reached an agreement over the transfer fee of the striker.
Mensah landed in Kjevik on Thursday afternoon and conducted a medical check at Sparebanken Sør Arena before signing the agreement.
The signing of the player comes as a big surprise as there were not hints of the player who had excelled in Slovenia joining the Norwegian side.

“I am very happy to come to IK Start,†said Ibrahim Arafat Mensah.
He describes himself as a player with good speed and skills, and now he looks forward to showing himself to the supporters at Sparebanken Sør Arena.
“I am very pleased that Start has seen my qualities and that they decided to pick me up and bring me here,†he says.
The 23-year-old scored 12 league goals for Aluminij in the 2017-2018 season, and contributed greatly to the club avoiding relegation.
When he was a junior player, he played for Portuguese side Paços de Ferreira before the trip back to Ghana to play for Rapid Academy.
The last three seasons he has played in Slovenia.
Arafat Mensah is a versatile attacker who can play both as a winger and offensive midfielder.
