Ghanaian artists are ungrateful – Mr. Logic

Entertainment pundit and artist manager Mr. Logic has stirred controversy by calling Ghanaian artists ungrateful during an interview with Blakk Rasta on 3FM.

He criticized artists for not appreciating the efforts of music executives, contrasting them with what he perceives as a more appreciative attitude from “cross breeds.”

Mr. Logic attributed this lack of gratitude to artists’ attitudes towards obtaining visas abroad.

“Our people from here you do it for them and they don’t appreciate it. Our people who are cross breeds appreciate the work music executives put in”, Mr. Logic stated.

He claimed that many Ghanaian artists view getting a visa as a major achievement, leading them to belittle others once they’ve secured it.

He illustrated this with a personal story about a previous artist he managed who, upon obtaining a UK visa, distanced themselves from him.

“The last artiste I worked with got a UK visa and decided not to work with me. A lot of them see getting a visa as a breakthrough,” he said.

Despite these challenges, Mr. Logic expressed optimism about his current project with MoSpence, stating that she appreciates his efforts and does not measure success based solely on acquiring visas.

“Mo will not let me down. She does not need a visa to America and says since I’m going to America I will not work with you”.
