Ghana U17 star Eric Ayiah excited to join AS Monaco

Ghanaian second division club Charity Stars have confirmed the transfer of former Black Starlets captain Eric Ayiah to French giants AS Monaco.

The 18 year old joins the former French Champions on a five year deal after passing his medicals on Thursday.

“I am delighted to seal this move to this great club and i will do everything possible to make things work,” he said from lower division side Charity Stars Academy.

Ayiah emerged on the radar Monaco following his exploits at the last edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup last year.

He netted 3 goals at the FIFA World Cup in India, where Ghana reached the quarter finals.
