Leader of The New Force, Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar has spoken out about the challenges he faced regarding his ownership of tigers.
Cheddar dismissed the criticisms surrounding his tiger ownership, stating that efforts by the Forestry Commission to secure his tigers were unsuccessful.
He said that despite the Commission’s attempts to find suitable land, they ultimately informed him of their inability to do so.
According to Bediako, he has established a well-built zoo behind his house to house his tigers safely.
He emphasised the high costs involved in maintaining these animals, noting that he feeds them cows every three days to prevent them from eating humans.
“I feed my tigers with cows every three days to prevent them from attacking humans. They are expensive to keep, and I have invested in the right facilities to house them. The Forestry Commission returned my tigers because they couldn’t find a suitable place,” Bediako explained.
