Kennedy Agyapong forced Bawumia to choose NAPO as his running mate – Akwasi Aboagye claims

Political commentator Akwasi Aboagye has claimed that Dr. Bawumia‘s selection of Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate was not entirely his decision.

Aboagye asserted in an ABN network interview that instead of Bawumia having sole authority over the choice, he was allegedly influenced against his preferences.

Aboagye further asserted that the decision was influenced by Kennedy Agyapong, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, implying that Agyapong played a significant role in convincing Bawumia to accept Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh as his running mate.

“Bawumia did not choose Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh. He was forced to accept him. Kennedy Agyapong forced Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh on Bawumia,” Akwasi Aboagye stated.
