“I’m unemployed because of Akufo-Addo and his gov’t” – Basintale

Malik Basintale, a National Democratic Congress (NDC) Deputy Communications Officer, sharply responded to a New Patriotic Party (NPP) representative’s comments on a breakfast show.

The NPP representative had sarcastically referred to Basintale as unemployed and seeking financial support.

In a spirited rebuttal, Basintale attributed his current unemployment to the policies of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government.

He criticized the administration for causing widespread hardship and economic difficulties, particularly affecting the youth.

Basintale blamed what he described as unfulfilled promises and poor economic management by the current government for his joblessness.

Calling on Ghanaians to make informed choices in the upcoming elections, Basintale concluded by asserting, “I am jobless because of the Akufo-Addo administration’s policies. He has failed to deliver on his promises and has nothing positive to offer.”
