Greater Accra Regional Minister, Titus Glover, has revealed that he faced internal sabotage from party members in the Tema East constituency during the 2020 elections, which led to his defeat.
According to the former MP, lack of support from party members undermined his campaign efforts, resulting in his loss to the NDC.
“I lost Tema East because my people did not support me, they sabotaged my campaign resulting in my defeat to the NDC.”
Speaking at the campaign launch of Jefferson Kwamena Sackey for Ablekuma Central, Glover emphasized the need to eliminate divisive politics within the NPP as they gear up for the upcoming December elections.
“We should eschew all forms of division as we prepare for the polls, we can’t be divided going into the election so let’s remain united”.
Jefferson Sackey aims to challenge the NDC’s Dan Abdul-Latif for the seat in December.
