A UK-base Ghanaian Isaac Kweku Coker has been awarded at the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), annual President’s Dinner which held at the RAC Club, Pall Mall, London.
The award was in recognition of his exceptional, outstanding and distinguished service to CIBSE and the wider industry.
Mr Coker has been in the construction industry for last 34 years and he was delighted and humbled for honour done him in recognition of his services and contribution to the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) .
Ing. Isaac Kweku Coker is currently the Chairperson of CIBSE UAE Technical Committee. He led the committee to collate MEP Design Guidelines for Abu Dhabi, Dubai and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; all of which have been edited and published by CIBSE.
According to him “I believe these guidelines will contribute to the current sustainable design agenda being prompted in each of the jurisdictions.”
I’m also both a CIBSE interviewer and a mentor, and I’m proud to say that everyone I’ve mentored and sponsored to date has become a member of CIBSE and/or a Charterted Engineer. To God be the Glory.” he noted after receiving the award.
Ing. Isaac Kweku Coker graduated from Prempeh College and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) both in Kumasi, Ghana.
