The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Afro-Arab Group of Companies, Alhaji Salamu Amadu, last Saturday feted over 1,000 head porters (Kayayei) and street children at the forecourt of his company in Kokomlemle in Accra.
The party organised by the Afro-Arab Group of Companies was in collaboration with the Hope for Street Foundation and Islamic Ummah Relief was themed; Giving Hope to All.

Alhaji Amadu was joined by the founders of the Hope for the Street Foundation, Zakiya Iddrisu Tindannayli and Khadijatu Iddrisu to treat the guests to an assortment of dishes and drinks.

According to Alhaji Amadu, a Board Member of the Ghana Gulf Chamber of Commerce said the party which is an annual event is held to reassure the head porters and street children that they have not been neglected by society.
