17-year-old Ghanaian stabbed to death in London

A 17-year-old Ghanaian, Nathan Bawuah, was fatally stabbed in London, leading to charges against another teenager, according to the Metropolitan Police in UK.

The accused, also 17, was arrested on Monday, 19 February, and will appear in custody at Stratford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, 21 February, charged with murder.

The incident occurred on Saturday, 17 February, on Hackney Road, E2. Nathan’s family has been notified and is receiving support from specialized officers. Formal identification is pending.

A post-mortem examination is scheduled for Wednesday, 21 February, at Poplar Mortuary.

  1. These incidents are becoming one too many. Many Ghanaians are being killed like chicken in foreign lands and some things need to be done about it. All Ghanaians and other foreigners, both old and young should also take precautionary methods when venturing out of their homes.

  2. We look up to US as the beacon of democracy and pinnacle of human rights standards. I am just disappointed that US is rather the place where you can be killed anytime especially for being black. From George Flod through others to now. Are African Countries been fooled about certain ideologies? We need answers, why are blacks targeted in the US? Is arrest or imprisonment enough for a lost life? I am just feeling sick!!!
