Full statement: Budget Review 2018

The Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta Thursday presented a review of the 2018 budget statement to Parliament.

One key highlight of the statement was the non-increment in Value Added Tax (VAT) as speculated.

He noted, “I will also like to advise our friends [Minority], that we should stop taking directions on economic policy from social media. Mr Speaker, VAT will be maintained at 12 and half percent.”
