A recently surfaced video on social media commemorates the funeral of beloved Ghanaian comic actor John Evans Kwadwo Bosompem, fondly known as Bob Santo.
Santo, recognized for his comedic prowess and Akan-speaking roles in movies, gained widespread popularity alongside his close collaborator Judas during the early 1990s to 2000s.
Together, they entertained audiences with their performances in movies, theatre, and the Omintiminim Concert Party, which Santo led in 1995.
Tragically, Santo succumbed to jaundice on May 30, 2002, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and entertainment.
At 62, he left behind two wives and three children, and his departure marked a profound loss in Ghana’s entertainment landscape.
