“This one pain me sha” – Nigerian gospel singer Tim Godfrey reacts to Ghana Vs Mozambique game

Nigerian gospel singer Tim Godfrey has shared his heartbreak over Ghana’s elimination from the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON).

The Black Stars squandered a two-goal lead against Mozambique in their last group stage match, concluding their campaign with only two points in group B.

Expressing his sorrow on Instagram, Tim Godfrey addressed his Ghanaian fans, saying, “My Ghanaian family. What just happened? This one pain me sha.”

Social media was flooded with reactions to his post.

Kwaku Kwame suggested, “Hmm, we need Eha to cool our hearts.”

Comments like “The Ghanaians did no cedis coming” and “The keeper is definitely the weapon formed against our team cos e be the cobra” reflected the disappointment and frustration among fans.

However, amidst the sorrow, supporters like Joy At Heart and Lovely Dove emphasised faith and resilience, asserting, “E pain all of us but we have a very big God.”
