Some celebrities see marriage as fashion – Xandy Kamel on why her colleagues end up in divorce

Ghanaian actress Xandy Kamel Mensah has advised celebrities to bear the qualities of patience and love if only they want to be in marriage and not become victims of divorce.

The newly-wedded actress believes celebrities can have a lasting relationship but it is difficult because some of them have not fully understood the meaning of marriage.

According to her, some celebrities wrongly define marriage which results in divorce.

“I think many people have taken marriage as competition or fashion. We don’t pray into the marriage but we need to get something, understanding, patience and love. Money is just a plus. Money only garnishes marriage like salad mixed with mayonnaise,” Xandy Kamel counseled in an interview on ‘Entertainment Ghana’ on Okay FM.
