Shatta Wale’s personality is easy to handle as a manager- Sammy Flex

In a recent interview with Graphic Showbiz, Samuel Atuobi Baah, widely known as Sammy Flex and the current manager of Ghanaian Dancehall sensation Shatta Wale, refutes claims that managing the charismatic and controversial artist is a challenging task.

Despite Shatta Wale’s past issues with former managers Bulldog and Mr. Logic, Sammy Flex insists that understanding the artist is the key to effective management.

According to Sammy Flex, Shatta Wale is not difficult to work with when properly understood.

He emphasises that the success of managing Shatta Wale depends on the individual handling him and their ability to support his ideas.

Sammy Flex further highlights the importance of mutual respect and asserts that, if these elements are in place, a long and successful working relationship can be maintained.

The experienced broadcaster also shares insights into his relationship with Shatta Wale, asserting, “Managing Shatta Wale is not that difficult if you understand him. He understands the game and knows what works for him. I just have to support his dream and give suggestions on anything he tends to do. We understand each other.”

Responding to concerns about potential conflicts leading to a fallout, Sammy Flex expresses optimism and states, “I just hope and pray that it doesn’t come to that. I am the cool type who can handle someone like Shatta Wale.”

Drawing comparisons with Shatta Wale’s previous managers, he suggests that issues may have arisen due to personality clashes, but with mutual respect, such conflicts can be avoided.

As the manager of the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker, Sammy Flex remains confident in his ability to navigate the complexities of working with Shatta Wale, emphasizing the importance of understanding and support in the dynamic artist-manager relationship.
