Mr. Ibu discharged after successful leg amputation

In a remarkable turn of events, renowned Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu has been discharged from the hospital after undergoing a challenging leg amputation.

The veteran actor, known for his comedic prowess and charismatic on-screen presence, faced a daunting health crisis that led to the difficult decision of amputating his leg.

Mr. Ibu revealed that he was afflicted with a life-threatening sickness in October 2023 and begged for financial support from his hospital bed.

The Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) Foundation was among the numerous people who generously donated to fund his medical costs. The outpouring of support was remarkable.

Sadly, after seven procedures, Mr. Ibu’s family broke the devastating news on November 6, 2023, that the actor would need to have one of his legs amputated.

Regretfully, following seven procedures, Mr. Ibu’s family was informed of devastating news on November 6, 2023: one of the actor’s legs had to be amputated. He has been in the hospital ever since, concentrating on his road to recovery.

Actor Ken Eric’s Instagram page recently posted a video that gave a comforting update on Mr. Ibu’s recovery from the amputation of his leg. In the video, Mr. Ibu was conversing with his less experienced colleague while sitting comfortably in the living room.
The renowned comic performer was never seen on camera following his hospital release. Despite this, there has been no official comment regarding Mr. Ibu’s current health status released by his family yet.

After a successful surgical procedure and the amputation of his leg, veteran Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has returned home.
