Keep your private lives away from the public – Philipa Baafi advises celebrities

Gospel singer, Philipa Baafi has advised celebrities to keep their private life from the public eye.

According to the singer, it is not appropriate for celebrities to shoot the public spotlight on particularly their family and marriage.

Her comments came after a recent altercation between gospel musician Joyce Blessing and her husband who has been managing her music career.

Joyce Blessing stormed the house of her sister-in-law to take custody of her biological children but was refused the opportunity which resulted in heated arguments between her and the sister-in-law.

The sister-in-law claimed the children had been living with her for four years without the support of their mother and therefore didn’t understand why Joyce Blessing would suddenly come for the children.

Joyce Blessing’s marriage is reported to be at the verge of collapse as all is not well between her and her husband.

Speaking in an interview with Halifax Ansah Addo on ‘Best Entertainment’ on Okay FM, Philipa Baafi advised that a celebrity should be able to balance her life in such a way that Ghanaians cannot peek into their privacy.

The singer who has successfully kept her marriage issues from attracting curious eyes stated that before any person became a celebrity, he or she had her own life to live.

Narrating how the story about the demise of her triplets  became a media discussion, Philipa Baafi said, she had had a “light conversation” with a friend, but didn’t expect the information to be out in the public domain.

” . . I have learnt a life-altering lesson to keep things which are secret in my secret chambers and out of the public eye,” she added.
