Ghanaian highlife icon Kofi Kinaata remains resolute in his faith amidst a recent death prophecy swirling online.
Disregarding the prophecy’s threatening tone, Kofi emphasizes his trust in God rather than dwelling on such predictions.
The prophecy, voiced by a pastor in a widely circulated video, urged prayers for Kofi’s protection against perceived threats.
“…and that you man that sings that they call him Kofi Kinaata, that represents Takoradi, the should pray for him. I kid you not. I don’t give prophecies about these musicians. I don’t do that. But in the hour when the angel was speaking me, I saw him and the angel told me he is the next they are going for. They will cut off his life prematurely if care is not taken.”
However, during an interview on Joy Prime’s morning show, Kofi calmly acknowledged the prophecy’s existence but chose not to be consumed by it.
“I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places. I don’t even want to talk about it. That’s what he has seen and he’s saying it. Maybe me too. I have seen it and I haven’t come out to say it. I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places. I pray five times daily, I’m unfazed,” Kofi Kinaata stated.
Despite receiving numerous similar prophecies throughout his music career, Kofi remains undeterred.
He mentioned that such predictions are not new to him, occurring frequently from various sources.
“I hear this every month, sometimes in a month it would come from different places,” he shared, revealing the regularity of such occurrences.
His unwavering faith reflects a mindset of strength and reliance on spiritual convictions over fear.
