Nero X, a renowned musician joined Aroma Universal Foundation donation of hand washing items to villages.
In the wake of the spread of Coronavirus, it has become necessary that we all contribute our quota to prevent the spread of this disease.
Aroma Universal Foundation then decided donate items like Veronica buckets, tissue papers, baskets, rubber hand washing basins among others.
The Executive Director of Aroma Universal Foundation, Monica Dede Odonkor in an interview with GhanaWeb’s Western Regional Correspondent said, there is the probability that those who are under the lockdown in Kumasi, Tema and Accra might have contracted the disease and heading towards the village could infects the village folks, which will be suicidal.
Hence, this timely intervention is necessary. She mentioned some of the places where the donation was made, Sekyere Krobo, Didiso, Nsuta, Sekyere Heman and the likes, all in the Western Region.
“We decided to consider those in the villages because we realised that most, if not all, donation were given to bigger towns and cities neglecting those in the villages”, she noted.
Nero X also explained why he joined Aroma Universal Foundation for the donation and campaign against the deadly Coronavirus.
The Chief of Sekyere Heman, Nana Anyani Boadu, was thankful to the NGO and cautioned the town folks, not to steal the items since its for the benefits of all.
