2. Nii Odoi Mensah
The actor and former president of the Ghana actor’s guild died on April 12, 2016, in China, where he had gone to undergo a kidney transplant. Nii Odio Mensah had been battling kidney disease for months.
3. Nkomode
Comedian Yaw Donkor, popularly known as Nkomode, passed away on February 5, 2016, after battling kidney, liver problems and bladder failure.
4. Nana Yaa Akyedie
In October 2019, Ghanaian gospel musician Nana Yaa Akyedie died after losing a heroic battle against breast cancer, leaving behind three kids.
5. Kofi Middleton Mends
In 2016, Ghanaian veteran actor, Kofi Middleton Mends sadly passed away. He died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra after battling a kidney disease.
