Emmanuel Boateng to miss start of La Liga season

UD Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng will miss the first games of the 2018/19 season after sustaining an injury in the friendly against Bournemouth last Friday.

The Ghanaian international suffered a discomfort to the inner knee and had to be withdrawn in the first half of the game , the match ended 4-3 in favor of the English team.

On Wednesday, Boateng successfully underwent a surgery at the Quirón hospital by Dr. Ernesto Fernández.

It is estimated that the striker will be sidelined between 4 and 6 weeks.

Emmanuel Boateng played 25 games last season and scored 7 goals including his famous hat trick against Spanish Champions FC Barcelona.
