Crystal Palace ace Jeffrey Schlupp delighted to score on his 100th Premier League appearance

Ghanaian midfielder Jeffrey Schlupp was pleased to score on his 100th Premier League appearance as Crystal Palace made a winning start to the new campaign, beating Fulham 2-0 on Saturday.

In what was a lively game at Craven Cottage, Schlupp opened the scoring with as he smashed home from inside the box before Ivorian international Wilfred Zaha sealed the win with a calm finish.

“Amazing to start the season with a great win and a goal on my 100th appearance! Fans were superb!? ???” He posted on Twitter.

The goal was also his first for Palace since making the switch from Leicester City in January 2017.

Schlupp made his Premier League debut for Leicester City as a second-half substitute against Everton on the opening weekend of the 2014/15 season.

The 25-year-old scored his first Premier League goal, in Leicester’s 22 draw with Burnley. He now has a total of five goals in the English top-flight.
