Blacko’s talent explains why Ghanaians hail him – KiDi

Musician KiDi has expressed his satisfaction with having recorded the song Lomo Lomo with Black Sherif.

He shared that Black Sherif provided the perfect energy and vibes, which contributed to the creation of the great track.

During an appearance on LTS on JoyNews with Doreen Avio, KiDi acknowledged the praise Ghanaians have for Black Sherif, recognizing his genuine talent.

“It’s spiritual vibes. Music is all about energy. If you are making music with someone and their energy is right, both of you on the same wavelength, you create what we are hearing. Positive energy, good energy and I’m glad we could go into the studio because Blacko.

“I understand why many Ghanaians hail him because he is so talented. Most of my part in the song was written by Kojo Black. Watch out for him. Black Sherif wrote his side, we got straight into the studio, recorded it right there and went home with our music.”

When asked if he wrote the lyrics for the song, KiDi credited the musician Kojo Blak and encouraged Ghanaians to keep an eye on this talented young artist.

KiDi also addressed rumors about being diagnosed with a stroke.

Earlier in 2023, he had planned a series of tours in the United States and other countries, but these were postponed due to a statement suggesting he was unwell.

This led to speculation that he was suffering from a stroke.

Refuting these rumors, KiDi clarified that they were false and explained that he needed a break to address other issues.

“There were issues that required me to take a step back, take a break and fix and deal with them. Few health issues but it wasn’t what people said it was. It has nothing to do with stroke. I didn’t get a stroke and don’t why and how it started but I never had get a stroke. If I had a stroke, I wouldn’t be here,” he said.

KiDi and Black Sherif’s Lomo Lomo is now available on all music streaming platforms.
