Head Coach of the Black Princesses of Ghana, Yussif Basigi insists their second group A game at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup against the Netherlands is a must win game for the team.
The Black Princesses head into the game after a humiliating 4-1 defeat to hosts France on Match Day 1.
Meanwhile, the Dutch, who are debutantes at the tournament have already secured a victory at the competition after beating New Zealand 2-1 in their first game.

According Yussif Basigi, nothing but a win is needed from the game if they are to progress to the next round of the competition.
“They have recovered quickly from the shock and they are looking forward for the next game, so that is a good impression I have observed,” he said in a pre-match interview.
“I have made the girls to understand even a draw, we are not safe. It is just a must win match for them. Even a draw won’t help. We must just win, so it is not just by saying but their attitude. They must be ready, they must be match ready for the game. I have made them aware and the battle line has been drawn.

Meanwhile, the coach who was heavily criticized for playing the girls out of position adds he has made the necessary adjustments to ensure the right players are at their right positions.
“The defense, there has been some changes. I have made a change with the right back. In the middle I have re-positioned them and the attack, there will be a spearhead and an auxilliary attacker. And I have made a change on the flanks too,” he said.
The Black Princesses will play the Netherlands on Wednesday afternoon.
