Alexis Sanchez was not among the Manchester United players who flew out to the United States for their pre-season tour on Sunday.
Sanchez, according to reports, will meet up with the squad in America where they will play five matches, including games against Liverpool, European champions Real Madrid and Italian side AC Milan.
One of Jose Mourinho’s latest signing’s Diogo Dalot, who joined United in a £19m deal from Porto in June, was one of the players spotted at Manchester Airport.
Daley Blind was not present – according to Sky sources Ajax have agreed a £14.1m fee for the Dutch defender.
Full-back Matteo Darmian has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford but has travelled as part of the squad.
United had 12 players at the World Cup, including winner Paul Pogba, David De Gea, Romelu Lukaku, Marouane Fellaini, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard. They will not be joining the tour.
Academy graduates Angel Gomes and Tahith Chong have been included and will be hoping to impress Mourinho as they bid for a place in the first-team.
Andreas Perreira, who spent last season on loan at Spanish side Valencia, was also among those heading out to Los Angeles.
