Afriyie Acquah rejects Empoli deal: eyes England move

Torino midfielder Afriyie Acquah has rejected overtures from Serie B side Empoli as he eyes a move to England.

Acquah endured a difficult season under coach Walter Mazari last term as he failed to churn out regular playing minutes.

The 26-year-old was said to be heading for the exit following reports that the club are looking to include him in a deal to sign Empoli midfielder Rade Krunic.

However, reports reaching GHANASoccernet.com suggest that the hard-tackling Ghana midfielder is not in favor of the move and has declined to negotiate.

Acquah awaits offers from the Premier League that, at the moment, have not arrived yet.
