Aduana Stars hail Kwesi Nyantakyi for unflinching support in continental campaign

The Operations Manager of Aduana Stars, George Gyawu has praised former President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Lawyer Kwesi Nyantakyi for his support and assistance during their participation in continental competition; CAF Champions League and Confederation.

Aduana Stars having won the Ghana Premier League last season represented the West African Country in the CAF champions league before being booted out to feature in the CAF Confederations cup per the rules of the competition.

The Dormaa based club had to spend a lot to honour various matches in the competition. With no support from the Government, George Gyawu has lauded praised on the embattled former FA boss, citing that he helped them.

Speaking on Dormaa FM, George Gyawu disclosed that the people of Dormaa and Aduana Stars need to thank the former FA President for making their continental campaign less stressful.

“Someone like Kwesi Nyantakyi helped us tremendously. Aduana Football Club and the people of Dormaa should be much grateful to Kwesi Nyantakyi,” George Gyawu revealed.

He, however, did not disclose the kind of help Lawyer Nyantakyi offered them.

Aduana Stars exited the CAF Confederations Cup after failing to qualify out of their group. They finished bottom of their table as they were thrashed in their last game by six goals to zero by Raja Casablanca.
