Gospel artist Perpetual Didier has addressed persistent rumors regarding her relationship with well-known music producer and artiste manager Dave Joy.
Speculations have surged in recent months, especially since Joy has been her manager.
In a candid interview with Fiifi Praat, Didier directly tackled the gossip, asserting that there is no romantic connection between them.
She stated, “There was no intimacy with Dave, even though he was my manager. Our relationship was strictly professional.”
Didier emphasized the professionalism of their collaboration, referring to Joy as her brother rather than a romantic partner.
“What we have is purely professional. He is my brother, not my romantic partner.”
She expressed her dedication to her career, maintaining her professional relationships and personal integrity.
Additionally, Didier shared her disappointment with some industry peers for their absence during her brother Shadrach’s funeral.
She revealed that aside from Dave Joy, no other gospel musicians offered their support after her brother tragically died from alleged police brutality at West Hills Mall on January 30, just days before he was set to travel to Germany.
