‘I don’t listen to noise’ – Baba Sadiq critiques Stonebwoy’s latest song ‘Jejereje’

Sadiq Abdulai Abu, known in the music industry as ‘Baba Sadiq‘ and a parliamentary candidate for Okaikoi Central, has voiced his disapproval of Stonebwoy’s latest track, “Jejereje,” labeling it as mere noise.

The dispute arose after a fan suggested on Facebook that Baba Sadiq had been secretly listening to the single.

In response, Sadiq firmly denied the claim, stating, “I don’t listen to ‘noise.’ It’s not a ‘superior artistic product.’”

Despite Sadiq’s critique, Stonebwoy’s “Jejereje” has quickly gained popularity, currently sitting at number one on YouTube Music and accumulating over 200,000 views within just 48 hours of its release.

Background

Baba Sadiq and Stonebwoy have been at loggerheads for some time, with the former 3Music boss taking every opportunity to criticise the dancehall musician.

Their feud began when Baba Sadiq accused Stonebwoy of threatening his wife and being generally abusive toward women.

In response, Stonebwoy filed a lawsuit against Baba Sadiq, seeking an apology and damages amounting to GH₵3 million for the claims he deemed defamatory.

During the recent TGMAs, Baba Sadiq actively campaigned against Stonebwoy, promoting King Promise over the BHIM Nation boss.

He appears to be continuing this trend as he prepares for the next TGMAs.
