Opoku Prempeh spotted with Asantehene at Ga State durbar

Energy Minister and Member of Parliament for Manhyia in the Ashanti Region, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, joined Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at the durbar of the Ga State on Sunday, June 9th, 2024.

The occasion, held in honour of Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, signifies the reciprocal visit following the Ga Mantse’s recent participation in the celebration of the Asantehene’s 25th ascension anniversary to the Golden Stool and his 74th birthday.

This exchange underscores the profound bond between the two revered traditional leaders.

Earlier, on Friday, June 7, 2024, Dr. Prempeh had a courtesy call on the Ga Mantse, emphasising the importance of fostering strong relationships among Ghanaian ethnic groups for national progress and development.

In another demonstration of commitment to education, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II contributed GH₵500,000 to the Ga Education Fund.
