Phoenix Rising FC captain Solomon Asante has been named in the USL Team of the Week for Week 1.
Asante, the 2019 Championship MVP, assisted two of the goals scored by hat-trick hero Rufat Dadashov.
He also scored his first goal of the season.
The Player of the Week is selected by the USL National Media Panel, which is made up of representatives from each media market in the Championship.
